New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

today we checked out this place for dimsum. Impressed by their current chef special the honey mock roast pork, came with chinese broccoli, texture is good like chicken and has a bit of "fat", but quite sweet but juiccy and the charr was impressivee. The mock shrimp dumpling was my least favorite, there was rice in there filling felt cheated, but the mock crab was fun. The tea was good& i liked the spinach dumpling but didnt know what was in the filling but no rice which is gud for me. The rice roll w/ fried dough was standard yummy. The rice wrapped leaf was nicely spiced. Oh the congee w/ corn was well enjoyed.

Today was the Lunar New Yearβs celebration all along Mott Street, cordoned off for the parade! We were going to have dim sum next door but it was full, packed with everyone queued all the way inside past the entrance doors into the restaurant β¦ so we went here to the Vegetarian Dim Sum [next door] which was sparsely crowded and surprisingly quieter. The interiors are very modest. But have ample seating for larger parties and family gatherings. The dim sum menu selection is very unique, so if itβs a first time ordering, it takes awhile to figure out what each of the items are in its description. Completely vegan of course. And the service is super prompt and very good. The style of this dim sum is greatly different, from places generally patronized serving dim sum in this part of Chinatown. And curiously, rather uncertain of which region the restaurantβs cuisine is originally based on, from the items seen on its menu. The portions are really hugely generous. With the dough around the dim sum very thick and unctuous. The fillings depending on what kind of greens selected, are seemingly very freshly cooked and made daily. Their deep fried egg rolls are not to miss! An absolutely sensa

Food is always amazing! They only have one server so it can take a bit when theyβre busy but this never bothers me as the food never misses! Complimentary tea is good. Super cheap and right in the heart of china town. The mock pork steamed buns are a must try!

Their dimsum are not hot, few of the dishes were came in at room temperature or even a bit cold where it should be fried and serve in hot. But they still tasted good and surprisingly still crispy. So I only took one star from its rating. Beside above their dimsum dishes are good, I specially like their fried wonton.

This is a great vegetarian restaurant if you are looking for somewhere affordable that has variety and is accommodating for larger groups. Iβve been here twice and and each time i had dim sum with at least 6 people. The only con is that the menu is not very descriptive and lacks pictures. The waiters do not always announce the name of each dish placed on the table, so Iβm always a bit confused by which dish Iβm eating. But this shouldnβt discourage you from visiting because most of the dishes are very tasty and youβll want to order seconds! I highly recommend the Buddha bean curd rolls (which kind of remind me of egg foo young) and the spring rolls. I also enjoyed the turnip cakes but some folks in my group disliked the gelatin texture. The rice flour rolls are also tasty but with an acquired texture. I only give 4 stars because there is nothing from the menu tasty enough for me to go out of my way for a visit. But the dim sum menu has a lot of solid options and the place is worth visiting if you happen to be in Chinatown or want to gather with a large group.
